Giving advice is sometimes a very easy thing to do when it is already a part of you. Even when your spirit is down, you are still able to give some advice. It is our lessons learned in life that we have the gift of guiding others into the right direction. The things we have experienced, lived through, survived, conquered, and may even still be going through helps us shine light on another persons darkness.
It’s amazing that our words have so much power for others and over others. It makes one wonder what happened to that power for yourself? We can encourage a child to take a step, we are able to keep a person from leaping to their death. We are capable of speaking life into the dying person in the hospital bed. We can make strangers smile just by smiling at them, or saying, “Hello!”
The old saying goes that in order for a person to adhere your words then you most certainly should, “practice what you preach.” Religious beliefs inform you to, “do as I say and not as I do.” I say, “your own words have the same power for you as they do for others.” The only issue is we believe in others more than we believe in ourselves. We can help others more than we dare to think about helping ourselves. We lead others down the right path while leading ourselves astray. We fight and do everything under the sun for others but little to nothing for ourselves. I thought about how I’ve been working and staying positive to reach the goals I want in to manifest my life. I realized that I am doing everything except taking my own advice. I realized that I am not creating what is necessary for my goals to manifest. Acknowledging the power of my own words, actually making room for these things to happen. It is so vital that we believe and plant the seeds we want to see grow. But what is more important is that we continue to work, while creating, allowing the space and opportunity for these things to blossom and grow. How can you plant a rose-bush and expect it to grow, but you haven’t cut down the weeds that stand next to it? How do you expect it to get the needed sunlight and rain water when the space it must occupy is cluttered? How can you expect it be as grand and gorgeous as it should when you have nurtured its inner beauty so it will be beautiful once it reaches its petals to the sky?
Create the room for your words and goals to manifest the power you have placed behind them for yourself. Use your own advice, believe in your own vision, trust your own gut, and remember:
There is always space and opportunity for your words to manifest into your life, it’s up to you to create the room that is needed. Only you know the size because it deoends on how big, the size of your goals and dreams.
